Welcome
Over the Rainbow Farm
Over the Rainbow Farm is a Southern California horseback riding facility nestled on the border of Rainbow and Fallbrook with easy freeway access. Students come from the communities of Fallbrook, Rainbow, Bonsall, Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Riverside, Temecula, Murrieta, Winchester, Menifee and Lake Elsinore. Many of our students are so enthralled with our relaxed and safe home-like atmosphere, they declare "I want to stay forever".
With 2 1/2 acres of lemon trees and trails on a hilly terrain, it offers to children and adults alike more than just riding lessons.
The family pets help bring the farm atmosphere to life with the added excitement and pleasure that interacting with animals can bring.
Over the Rainbow Farm is unique and dedicated to the joy that fresh air, sunshine, open space and exercise can bring to your family or to the individual. Taking horseback riding lessons in Fallbrook/Rainbow is such a delight. The country atmosphere lends itself perfectly to a relaxed and productive session that leads to greater confidence and self assurance.
Horseback riding and the preparation is a large-muscle activity. The strength developed here will spill over into improved physical education testing at school and strengthened skeletal frames with improved posture.
Owner/Operator Robin Dixon is a CHA certified instructor. She has a lifetime of equine and teaching experience, and enjoys instructing both people and horses. Bringing out their strengths and true potential is the inspiration of Robin's teaching. With her keen eye, natural instinct and goal oriented attitude, students blossom under her guidance.
Learning should be fun along with the hard work.
It is crucial in the beginning, for novice and beginner riders, to develop a proper and fundamental base. Using both English and Western disciplines for overall balanced riding and horsemanship skills, these key elements are the foundation to our program and contribute to this objective.
When you own or ride a horse, developing and maintaining a relationship of mutual respect is necessary. Building self confidence is the beginning of this process. Robin's program is designed to obtain this goal. If you are fortunate enough to have your own horse or choose to use one of ours, Robin can work with you on these principles. You can learn with one of our horses at Over the Rainbow Farm or at your home or facility with your horse.
